Tension has been on the border with China since May and there is a continuing critical situation on the border. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s arrival here surprises everyone.

Earlier on Friday, only Defense Minister Rajnath Singh had to go to Leh, but on Thursday his program was changed. Then it was decided that only Bipin Rawat would go to Leh.

Let us tell you that there was a clash between the soldiers of India and China in the Galvan Valley on 15 June amid tension on the Ladakh border. In this skirmish, 20 soldiers of the Indian Army were killed, while some soldiers were also injured.
After this incident, tension increased continuously, both the armies have also talked on several occasions. And discussed withdrawing the army from the present place.

The meeting was to be held with the officers

On Friday, CDS Bipin Rawat was to hold a meeting with officers of the North Command and 14 Corps here. During this time, the current tension with China was to take stock of the border situation. Earlier, Army Chief MM Narwane had also gone to Leh, where he met the injured soldiers in Galvan Valley.

Apart from this, the army chief visited the forward post of Eastern Ladakh and took stock of the situation. The army chief told the soldiers that your work has been excellent, but this work has not been completed yet.
